Happy New Year, readers! I am excited about what will happen this year and am even more excited to see things come to fruition. Let me share with you what’s going on with me and what I’m doing to make 2025 my best year.
I am employed again! I do home health care and want to see if the company I’m going through will help me get a CNA license. It will enable me to begin saving money and keeping to a budget much better. I will still find something else in case this doesn’t work out. I am awaiting my background check to return so I can begin working.
Speaking of budgeting, I printed out a simple savings challenge that allows me to save five dollars every time I break a big bill denomination. I am adding that to my monthly budget and paying down some debts until it reaches zero.
I am still on my YouTube grind. I’m currently working on a video idea that will go up soon. One idea I have is a monthly walk-through of my bullet journal, how I planned out the pages, and why I did it like that. The goal is to get two videos posted a week and monetized. I’m considering doing a 30-day challenge to test my stamina for daily vlogging.
As for this site, I am working on a series on money management, Valentine’s Day, and I may be doing a 30-day challenge. I haven’t decided which month it’s going to transpire. If I do it, I’ll have to forgo the annual blogging events I love doing. I am leaning toward posting twice a week and a storefront. That is in the works as I type. I am adding my YouTube channel here so you can see the videos, and I will get that going soon.
