Blogtober 2024 is coming fast, and I am excited! I have some of my articles written, graphics made, and Zora’s Halloween bucket washed and ready to receive candy and other goodies.

What is Blogtober, you ask? For the uninitiated, Blogtober is a 31-day challenge bloggers participate in by posting every day in October. The posts can be themed for Fall, Halloween, or mix it up. Most bloggers post daily, some weekly, or for the week of Halloween. I’m participating the week of Halloween because it’s an insanely busy time of year for me. I’ll offer you some tips and tricks to help you join on this magnificent occasion.

  • Schedule your posts to give you some time to gather what you need for your article.
  • Stay ahead by a day or two by having some articles scheduled and ready to post.
  • Make your graphics and banners about a month in advance. I typically make mine in September.
  • Utilize Google Analytics to see how well your posts are doing, the days and times people come onto your site to read what you’ve written. I’m still learning how to use the tool.
  • When your articles go live, post the links on social media right away.

I hope this helps in your Blogtober adventure. I’ll see you in the next post and on October 25th!
