Happy February, readers! This month has flown by fast, and I haven’t yet set out to accomplish what I want to do. I’ll start with what’s on the agenda for this month.

I began cleaning my apartment and decluttering, packing up the items I wasn’t using or hadn’t used in a long time. I have to get them to my storage unit relatively soon. There’s a high chance that I may be moving into a bigger spot this summer, and I need to save the money now to make it a reality.

I began a job readiness program and got deactivated because I got sick. I did my part by calling and documenting that information. Communication broke down somewhere, and I had to begin the program again in March. I am still waitlisted for two jobs, but there’s one I want. I will check out another nearby program to see about their job readiness program as well.

I filed my taxes and am awaiting the money to roll in to build an emergency fund. I want to start having something aside so I don’t get into another situation that puts me in a bind. I already filed for bankruptcy and have to pay that off right away. The tail end of 2024 was a wake-up call for me to do that, and I need to get onto a side hustle.

Speaking of side hustles, I will post one long-form piece and one short on YouTube twice a week. I haven’t been able to post lately because other things need immediate attention. I have some topics on the noggin that I can’t wait to film and show a piece of what’s going on in my life. I am utilizing and testing a few apps to see if gig work is in the cards for me.

It is cold outside, and I have to take out the trash. Do I want to brave the cold and go out there? I may as well, as I don’t want critters in my apartment. Zora is snoring, and I must prepare her for school in the morning if she even goes. Her school may shut down because of the cold, though. If I can utilize this morning’s time to write a blog post, I can take out the trash before the kid wakes up.

Stay warm, and I’ll see you in the next post!
