Back in the day, I was a voracious reader. I had massive collections of trashy romance novels, pieces of erotic anthologies, some self-help books, and a reference book or two. Lately, I can barely read without being interrupted by a seven-year-old girl who wants my attention every five seconds.

No matter how salacious they were, biographies piqued my interest, especially celebrity biographies. I had one biography on former President George H.W. Bush but lost it along with the many moves I was on several years back. I want to find that book and read it.

I only read one book cover to cover in 24 hours in 2024 (28 Summers by Elin Hildenbrand). Usually, I’m reading about 10-12 books in a month, and I’m barely getting one read cover to cover. 2025 is going to be different.

I am reigniting my love for reading by reading several celebrity biographies. One biography I won’t review on YouTube because I feel she’s been talked about enough, and I will write a review here. I looked through a box of books and saw the ones I had bought and never read in various genres.

Beginning in January, I am starting a challenge of reading twenty-five books for 2025. I will do a video discussing my challenge, and they can follow along via Instagram. I have a new page to see the books I review (the written will have spoilers, but the video component will not).

Vlogmas Day 8 is live, and I’ll see you on Day 9!
