It’s that time of year again when we have to keep gas and fluids topped up, oil changed, and tires filled with air. Yup, follow me as I get the car winterized!

I went to get my oil changed, and the attendant topped up all of my fluids so I was ready for whatever the weather had to throw at me. My wipers and filters were changed. I got two things of wiper fluid and placed them in my trunk. I already had a half bottle of wiper fluid in there, so I have a bit more.

When I got home, I found the blankets, shovel, and brush, and placed them in the trunk. Zora’s blanket was already in the back seat of the car. She snuggles up with that every morning before I drop her off at her grandma’s house. Grandma’s car has a really comfortable pillow she sleeps on while going to school. She thinks she’s Sleeping Beauty or something.

After work, I filled up my gas tank. I made a conscious decision to always have a twenty-dollar bill hidden in the car in the event I run out of gas and I can fill it halfway. I have to add a set of emergency clothes for both myself and Zora. That’ll be done later in the month.

That’s it and I’ll see you in tomorrow’s post!
